The Venny is very excited for Girls Group and Dinner Night Program to start for 2018. Girls Group will start on Tuesday the 6th of February and Dinner Night will return on Thursday the 8th of February. Guys Group will be on tonight (2nd of February) and will continue throughout term. The Venny in partnership with Kensington Neighbourhood House is very excited to start a Reading and Writing Class on Tuesdays 9:30am-12pm. The Reading and Writing Class is open to all adults. Free Childcare will be provided during class time.

Transition town will be hosting a two hour tour of the small inner city suburb of Kensington that shows how local residents working with community organizations, local government and business are building food security in the city, by producing local, nutrient rich and chemical free food for local consumption.
Transition towns gentle rambling tour takes you to seven unique locations where you will hear from the individual or group who set it up about their inspiration, the projects challenges and outcomes in our hopes to inspire and encourage you to find new ways of producing and consuming food.
The tour will conclude at The Venny Inc. where light refreshments will be provided. This is about local action taken to address environmental damage.
