Look what the children and community grew at The Venny! We will be using the giant zucchini in dinner tonight at guys group. If you would like to volunteer and help us grow more healthy food, The Venny is open on Friday’s 10:30am- 1pm for community members to help maintain the garden and have a cup of tea.
The Venny will be hosting its annual Guys Group Sleepover on Friday the 19th of January- 20th of January. Anyone attending the Sleepover are encouraged to attend the planning meeting on the 12th of January 6pm-8pm. It is that time of the year again…. The annual girls group sleepover over at The Venny. Girls Group sleepover will be on the 16th of December starting at 5:30pm. Girls can be picked up on Sunday the 17th of December between 8am-10am.
Girls are encouraged to attend the pre-sleepover meetings during Girls Group Program (5th December and 12th of December 5:30pm-8pm).
The Venny has spare tents and sleeping bags but if children have their own they are encouraged to bring them.

All community members are welcome to join us on Friday mornings from 10:30am- 2pm to participate in maintaining our community garden whilst enjoying a cup of tea.
Permaculture gardener, Jacqui van Heerden, will be at The Venny during this time to provide education and support to community members. Please bring any tools and garden gear you want, The Venny can provide tools and gloves if needed. The Venny will be closed on Tuesday the 7th of November due to the Melbourne Cup Public Holiday.
The Chamber Made Opera Program will be running Monday the 19th of June and Monday the 26th of June between 3:30pm and 5:30pm. Enrolments are needed, please contact Catherine for further details. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
