The Venny is just that. We provide unstructured indoor and outdoor play experiences where children are free to choose their own play. They are free to come and go and it is free to enter.

Our communal backyards in Fitzroy and Kensington and pop-up playgrounds at nearby public housing estates have something for everyone. Loose parts, play structures, games and art are just some of what’s on offer.

Play is at the heart of what we do. Our practice is based on playwork principles and our staff are playworkers.

    The Venny @ Kensington is a free supervised communal backyard for kids to play in.

    The Venny @ Cubbies Fitzroy is a free supervised communal backyard for kids to play in.

  • The Venny To You @ Flemington

    The Venny To You is our mobile playground that visits the Flemington public housing estate.

  • Girls Group +

    Girls Group+ is a support program for young people aged 8 and over who identify as female.

  • Boys Group +

    Boys Group+ is a social and emotional support program for young people over 8 years old.

  • Dinner Night

    Dinner Night is a program for young people 12–16 to build life skills, resilience, and social connection.
