The Venny provides supervised play experiences

Kids aged 5 to 16 do not need parent supervision and are free to come and go.

The Venny staff are trained and experienced in working with children, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for everyone. They are dedicated to providing attentive care, fostering positive relationships, and making sure each child feels valued and safe.

Our communal backyards in Fitzroy and Kensington and pop-up playgrounds at nearby public housing estates have something for everyone.

Help for parents

The Venny has been providing safe risk-taking play experiences for children and young people for over 45 years. Our staff, known as playworkers, are skilled practitioners in managing risk.
