Meet our board of management, who come from a range of industries and experiences but work together to make The Venny as successful as possible.
Owen Quake (Chair): Owen is the Safety & Risk Director for BP Fuels in Asia Pacific while also supporting BP’s global growth in the low carbon economy. He has three school aged children and has lived in the inner west for 23 years.
Natasha Perera (Treasurer): Natasha is the Group Financial Controller at 2XU and initially connected to The Venny in her role at Pitcher Partners.
Samantha Currie (Secretary): Sam is a corporate lawyer at MinterEllison with legal experience in advising charitable organisations on corporate governance.
Alice Leake (Board Member): Alice is a Landscape Architect and Urban Designer based in Melbourne. She’s passionate about creating great places and spaces for all to enjoy.
Lauren Green (Board Member): Lauren has worked in Human Resources roles in large organisations including BP, NAB and Bupa, is currently Senior P&C Business Partner at AGL. As a local resident of Kensington for many years, Lauren looks forward to continuing engagement with the local community.
